Un viaje relajando en Toledo (Not Ohio)

Hola nuestras Seguidores!!!! (Hello Followers)

today we went to Toledo to explore more of our host country. So we woke up early (9am, 3am EDT) and navigated the empty streets, metro system, and RENFE train to get to Toledo just in time for mass at noon in the beautiful and spacious Toledano Cathedral. Some of us were better at understanding the parts of the mass than others. However, we tried our best. We toured around the sweltering hot cathedral for a bit then went to get a bite to eat at a restaurant named el pescador (the fisherman). We got an assortment of foods between the seven of us: from a cheese sandwich to steak to Castilian soup to salmon and suckling pig. After we were refreshed, we went to check out the view of the town from some of the town's many overhangs. We took some crazy awesome pics then went to the centuries-old synagogue in the town. We bought a bunch of cheap souvenirs (and some not-so-cheap souvenirs) before we stopped in for some churros con chocolate (Churros and chocolate). We even made a lot of friends from all over the world. Anthony ran into someone that he knew. There were people from Kansas City, Canada, Washington D.C. We even made some friends on the train who were from Brazil. We had a lot of fun today, but that does not mean that we have forgotten why we're here. We got to experience God in all of the cool people we met, the Universality of the church, and the beautiful Spanish countryside. The French tourists sang religious songs in harmony, which was beautiful, but very obnoxious. I hope that Jim doesn't force us to sing:) But i digress. We plan for a lot more adventures during our coming days and will keep up with you all. Speaking of Jim, where is he?
